Our Client is a leading national food retailer and requires a Medium Rigid (MR-minimum)) Truck Driver to commence immediately in a 4-6 week assignment. To succeed in this role, applicants require the following qualification and experience:

About the Role:

A permanent role opportunity for the right person has become available from recent retirement of a former staff member for this North Gold Coast / Southern Brisbane family business located in Stayplton, that manufacture and supply agricultural products. 

An experienced HC Truck Driver is required for a permanent role in the driving of various Truck and Dog Trucks in the delivery of bulk loads of stock (horticulture goods / potting mix, mulch, etc), to the Greater Brisbane area as well as some further locations in Qld to nurseries, farms, etc.

Role requires you to be able to have exceptional customer service skills as you are the face of the business and be to meet delivery schedules that can range from 2-10 deliveries per day day that can be to Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Gold Coast as well as the Brisbane region.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you must be:

• Suitably ticketed with a Qld HC Truck Licence
• Experienced operating Truck & Dog Trucks in similar environment - quarries, etc.
• Ability to drive a variety of Truck and Dog and other trucks including a:
  • Volvo 38ton Automatic
  • Kenworth 33ton Crash Gear Box
  • Other smaller trucks 5 to 12.5ton with Syncro Gearboxes
• Able to provide a clean driving record
• Extensive knowledge of the Greater Brisbane Region as HC Truck Driver
• Past proven experience in taking pride in looking after trucks

Location, Dates, Opportunity:

• Permanent Opportunity 
• 4am start, (Monday to Friday and some Saturday's)
• Overtime opportunities (fluctuate with each season)
