Description

Our client is looking for an experienced MR Truck Operator with a current MR licence to join their Devonport team. Skilled and efficient, you’ll be responsible for the collection and delivery of used cooking oil from onsite customer tanks.

Collecting from approximately 15 – 25 customers per day, you will collect mostly from North West coast sites with some Southern and Eastern trips which will see you staying overnight once a month. Using an iPad to perform accurate record keeping for each stop, you are also responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness for the trucks under your operation.

With two weeks training provided, this 2-month contract requires you to work 2 days per week and eight to twelve hours per day with an occasional overnight. Drivers are not permitted to work more than thirteen hours in a day and all trucks are fitted with up to date technology to identify and record any signs of driver fatigue. 

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate has a current HR licence, is skilled in operating tankers and experience in waste management. You must have an excellent driving record and traffic history while capable of being flexible and focused on maintaining a culture of safety for yourself and others. Able to provide us with two relevant references, to be considered for the role, please ensure you can prove the following:

  • Current and valid HR Licence
  • Need to have MSIC Card (or willing to get one)
  • Excellent driving record
  • Committed to safety for self and others
  • Trustworthy, reliable, with strong customer service and communication skills
  • Skilled in operating tankers desirable but not mandatory Trustworthy and reliable
